1828 - Leonard Griffin

1829 - James Powel, Sr - d down on White Oak,
Joseph Shaw, our Senator, died this year.

1830 - none recorded

1831 - Col John Dickson, old citizen and Elder in the Presbyterian church, died this year, his age not known but about 80, an old Revolutionary soldier.

1832 - none recorded

1833 - Mrs Mary Winkfield Robinson, consort of John E Robinson, born 1813, died 1833 age 20 years.

1834 - Harrison Southerland - executed for the killing of J. Hillsman. 1st death sentence in our county.

1835 - Mr Isham Huckeby, died this year in the 4th District, aged 93, Revoluntionary soldier.
Mr Nelson established 2nd paper but sold in the fall to C F Sherborn who afterwards published the Palladium. 1st paper Samuel W Minor - Coweta Advertiser.

1836 - Major James Wood, a revolutionary soldier and gallant officer died 82 - just over the line in Heard County.
Samuel S Mayors died 1836 - 6th district,
Willard Fisher died this year, age unknown.

1837 - Charles F Sherburn closed his Palladium this year.
Elam S Ashcroft, as carpenter; he tried the broom business, but made a successful failure at it.
Mrs Martha M Pinson died 1837 - EC 6th District

1838 - none recorded

1839 - Col Thomas Hudson, prominent citizen, age unknown;
John Thurman, old Rev soldier, d in Newnan, age 80;
Hill Thurman.

1840 - James & Frank Welch came to Newnan and started the Transcript. 1840 population a little over 10,000 for county.
Thomas Pinson, a nice young man, died 1840, in Coweta.

1841 - Miss Mary M Rupe, 29years 8 months;
Mr Phillip Orr - age 60;

1842 - Randall Robinson - 80.

1844 - Mrs Tabitha West - 6th district;
J A Thompson - 2 years and one month old.
