I have just read the book "Murder in Coweta County" and have seen the movie. I would like to see a book or movie about the life and times of Sheriff Lamar Potts. He really did "Walk Tall".

Coweta Genealogy Society,
A cousin several years ago saw a three page article with an explanation about Joseph PEAVY's Revolutionary War service. She has not been able to come back due to family and heath conditions. I live in North Carolina. Is there a method whereby I can get a copy of this article.

I am looking for family members of the late Clabe POLK. Family history says he may have changed his name. He served time in Jackson, Michigan prison and when he got out, resided in Newnan, Georgia. It is my understanding that when he died he had a wife and sons and owned several acres of land there.
He was born in Lawrence County, Alabama. Your assistance in tracking family down is very much appreciated.
