Deed Book C, p. 80 Georgia, Upson County This Indenture made the twelfth day of November in the year of our Lord, One thousand Eight hundred and Thirty one between Robert Jackson of the county and state aforesaid of the one part and Thomas Hynes of the county of Putnam and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Robert Jackson for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars, to him in hand paid, at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Thomas Hynes his heirs and assigns all that Tract or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the county of Troup, contianing two hundred two and a half acres more or less, known and distinguished as lot (213) two hundred and thirteen in the (7) seventh district, to have and to hold said Tract or parcel of land unto him the said Thomas Hynes his heirs and assigns together with all and singular, the rights [...] and appurtenances thereof to the [...] in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use [...] and behoof forever in fee Simple, and the said Robert Jackson for himself his heirs Executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Thomas Hynes his heirs and assigns with warrant and forever defined the Right and title thereof against themselves and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever. Deed Book A, p. 43 Original Land Owners 1827 Winner Elizabeth Hines of Laurens County, Widow of Revolutionary Solier, LL 251, 6th District, State of Georgia This Indenture made the Twenty Second day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Seven and in the fifty second year of the United States independence between Elizabeth Hines (widdow) of the State aforesaid and Laurence of the one part, and Thomas Hines of the same state and County of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Elizabeth Hines for and in consideration of the Love, good will and affection I have and bearith unto Thomas Hines I have given, granted aliened, i[...], and delivered and by these presents, doth give, grant, alien in[...] and deliver unto the Said Thomas Hines his heirs and assigns Forever, one Certain Tract, Lot or part of Land Situate and being in the state aforesaid and County of Troup Containing Two Hundred and two and a half acres be there more or less which is known and distinguished by the number Two hundred Fifty one (251) in Sixth (6) District of Troup County Which was Originally granted to Elizabeth Hines Widdow of R. S. by his Excellency, George M. Troup on the 3rd day of September 1837[sic; should be 1827]. To have and to hold the said Tract, Lot or parcel of Land together with all and singular the Rights [...] appurtenances thereof whatsoever unto the Said Thomas Hines his heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use, benefit and [...] forever in FEE SIMPLE and the said Elizabeth Hines for herself, her heirs Executors Administrators and assigns Covenant herself and agree by these presents that the said Thomas Hines, his heirs and assigns shall and lawfully may from time to time and at all Time [...] peacebly and Qu[...] have, hold ever occupy, posses and enjoy the said Land and tenement [...] and premises hereby granted and confirmed or mentioned as: hereby Granted and Confirmed premises with three and many of their appurtenances from and full Clear from all manner of incumbrances whatsoever. In Witness whereof the Said Elizabeth Hines hath hereunto set her hand and affixed her seal this day and year above written. Troup Co. Deed Book A, p. 428 Know all persons by these presents that I Thomas Hines of the County of Decatur and State of Georgia for and in consideration of the Sum of four hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by Robert Bledsoe of the County of Putnam and aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged doth hereby give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Robert Bledsoe and to his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of Land containing two hundred two and one half acres, situate lying and being in the State District of Troup county which Lot of Land is known and distinguished in the plan of said district by number two hundred and fifty one which Lot of Land drawn by and granted to Elizabeth Hines on the third day of September eighteen hundred and twenty Seven. And the said Thomas Hines do further agree to warrant and forever defend the right and title of the Said two hundred two and a half acres of Land (for the same more or less) from myself my heirs executors and Administrators and from all a[...] every person or persons whomsoever unto the said Robert Bledsoe also to his heirs and assigns to have and to hold this said Robert Bledsoe and to his heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof in Fee Simple forever. The testimony Whereof I the said Thomas Hines have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal the seventeenth day of September in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty eight and fifty three year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty eight and fifty three year of the Independence of the United States of America.
