Joheph H. Gardner, 236 Barberry Lane, Lexington, KY 40503
Barnwell; McConnell
Two brothers, William and Joshua McCONNELL settled in Broomtown Valley in the 1830's, William on the Chattooga County side, Joshua on the Walker County side. They had a sister who married a chap named BARNWELL and probably lived in the same area. Can anyone tell me her name and identify her husband?

Virginia Pierce, 290 Gardenia Drive No, Salem, Oregon 97303
Haynes; Moore; Parks
I am trying to locate a marriage record for my g-g-grandparents, John (Jonathan) HAYNES and Ann PARKS. Ann was first married to Samuel MOORE on 15 Jun 1826 in Roane County, TN. They seperated in Jun 1827, had no children, and divorce was final 22 Sep 1835.
Ann went to live with Jonathan HAYNES after leaving S. MOORE. John and Ann were the parents of Jackson, (b. 1829); Patrick, (b. 1831); Seraphina, (b. 1833, my g-grandmother); John, (b. 1836); and Virgil, (b. 1845). The 1850 Walker County census lists Ann still living with John HAYNES along with children Patrick, John and Virgil. The 1850 census for Roane County, TN show Jackson (21) and Seraphina (17) living with their grandparents, George and Elizabeth PARKS.
