Wedding. - On the 17th inst., Mr. F. F. JENNINGS and Miss Ida HYDE, both of this village, were united in
the holy bonds of matrimony, by the Rev. J. ALABASTER. The ceremony took place at the residence of the
bride's grandmother, on Port Watson street. The house was filled to overflowing with the friends of the
happy couple. The presents were splendid.I have not space to enumerate all the gifts of love, but among
the most noteworthy were a gold band china tea set, presented by the "C.I.B.'s," and a package of
greenbacks, presented by the father and mother of the groom. After the ceremony was over, the guests partook of a collation prepared in excellent style by Mrs. WARREN and her daughter.
At seven o'clock the newly married couple took the train on their bridal tour,amid the oft repeated wishes of good welfare from their friends, who all went to the depot to bid them goodbye.

Last Tuesday, the 23d, was the date of a very interesting affair - to two persons at least. Mr. Devillo S. BROWN was united in marriage to Miss Mary E. YAGER, only daughter of one of our most excellent citizens, Mr. Wm. E. YAGER. The ceremony took place at the house of the bride's father in the presence of a few friends and relatives. Mr. YAGER is to be congratulated upon gaining a son-in-law whose uprightness and integrity of character are above reproach. Mr. BROWN is to be congratulated upon having won for a wife one of the most amiable and accomplished young ladies of the village.
