Wedding. - On the 17th inst., Mr. F. F. JENNINGS and Miss Ida HYDE, both of this village, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, by the Rev. J. ALABASTER. The ceremony took place at the residence of the bride's grandmother, on Port Watson street. The house was filled to overflowing with the friends of the happy couple. The presents were splendid.I have not space to enumerate all the gifts of love, but among the most noteworthy were a gold band china tea set, presented by the "C.I.B.'s," and a package of greenbacks, presented by the father and mother of the groom. After the ceremony was over, the guests partook of a collation prepared in excellent style by Mrs. WARREN and her daughter.
At seven o'clock the newly married couple took the train on their bridal tour,amid the oft repeated wishes of good welfare from their friends, who all went to the depot to bid them goodbye.

A Double Ceremony

A recent Rochester Empress says: A golden wedding was celebrated in this city last evening, and the event was rendered doubly interesting by the fact that the marriage of the youngest child of the couple was celebrated at the same time. The couple who have begun the second half of their married life are Mr. and Mrs. William WARNER, who reside at No. 100 Alexander street, parents of H. H. WARNER, of this city, and the daughter whowas married was Miss Elnora WARNER, the bridegroom being Mr. T. B. BOWEN, of Cortland, N.Y. The marriage of the young bride and groom was first performed, by Rev. Henry D. MOREHOUSE, pastor of the East Avenue Baptist Church, officiating. At the conclusion of the simple but impressive ceremony, and after the newly married couple had received the hearty congratulations of their many friends, Rev. Ira DUDLEY, of Meridan, Onondaga County, one of the old and early friends of the family, and pastor of the Baptist Church in Memphis, Onondaga County, stepped forward to the place where the fifty years married couple were seated, and in an appropriate and feeling speech presented them a vase, in which was placed 50 $5 gold pieces, arranged so as to form the figures '50,' surrounded by a circle of the golden coin. This was the present of the children of the aged couple, in commemmoration of the event, and as a token of their filial love and esteem. Rev. Mr. MOREHOUSE replied on behalf of the recipients. Other costly and elegant presents were presented Mr. and Mrs. WARNER. Mr. William WARNER was seventy years old on the 24th of March last, but he is still hale and hearty. He was born in Onondaga county. His father, Capt. Seth WARNER, who was born in Massachusetts, and who was a soldier of the war of 1812, moved into Onondaga county in 1806, and was one of the first settlers of that county. He died about eight years since. Mr. WARNER came to this city about sight years ago from Onondaga county. His wife, Mrs. Electa WARREN, will be 67 years of age next November. She was born in Onondaga County near Warner's, twelve miles west of Syracuse. Her father was a soldier in the war of 1812, during which he died. Eleven children are the issue of the marriage, and seven of them are still living, while all of them grew to manhoo or womanhood. The living children are as follows in order of their age: Mrs. Dr. D. F. BARNARD, of Camillus, Onondaga County; Mrs. J. W. WARNER, Onondaga, N.Y.; Mrs. William CARR, of Rochester; Mrs. J. L. HOWARD, of Chicago; Miss Alice WARNER, of Rochester, and Mrs. Elnora BOWEN, the bride of last night.

    Wedding - On Wednesday evening, September 27th, 1877, Dr. Harlan P. COLE, of Chicago, Illinois, and Miss Nettie G. DAVIS, formerly of this place, but who has been residing in that city for sometime past, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. The Chicago daily Inter-Ocean, of Friday last, in speaking of the occasion, says: -
    "Last evening about half-past eight o'clock, the University Place Baptist Church was densely crowded, as Dr. Harlan P. COLE, Professor in Hahnemann Medical College, was united in matrimony to Miss Nettie G. DAVIS. The magnificent edifice was richly ornamented with flowers and evergreens about the chancel and organ., the latter of which pealed forth the strains of the wedding march as the bride and groom made their appearance and proceeded up the aisle to the alter. There were no bridesmaids or groomsmen, or reception subsequent to the ceremony. The affair being made very quiet on account of a recent death in the bride's family. The newly wedded pair will receive their friends every Thursday during the month of October, at their residence, No. 43, University Place."
    Mr. and Mrs. COLE will please accept the good wishes of a happy future, from their many Eastern friends, who were unable to be present on this happy occasion.

McGrawville.

Last Tuesday, the 23d, was the date of a very interesting affair - to two persons at least. Mr. Devillo S. BROWN was united in marriage to Miss Mary E. YAGER, only daughter of one of our most excellent citizens, Mr. Wm. E. YAGER. The ceremony took place at the house of the bride's father in the presence of a few friends and relatives. Mr. YAGER is to be congratulated upon gaining a son-in-law whose uprightness and integrity of character are above reproach. Mr. BROWN is to be congratulated upon having won for a wife one of the most amiable and accomplished young ladies of the village.
