The history of Richland County says they are buried in the Richland Center Cemetery, yet on a recent visit I found no trace of them there. Are Edwin and Charles A. MILLER

Bill Duchek Fri Oct 4 12:46:57 2002
I am trying to locate data on my ggf and family, cannot find on 1860 Richland county census (?). He was born John MILLER in IN circa 1836 to Thomas MILLER/Hellen FORSYTHE, moved from there (?) settled in Richland county, married Sarah E. MORRIS 6.21.1858, started family, joined 19th WI infantry in 1862, lost leg at Fair Oaks, VA, discharged 5.1865, returned to Richland, added to family, bought land, and emigrated w/wife and 5 kids, circa 1869 thru IL, IN and ending in Cape Girardeau, MO. Possibility that his parents came with him to WI, but don't know. Another problem - he died in MO, and I believe that his widow Sarah E. MILLER went back to Richland, where she had family. WI Vital Records has a Sarah E. MILLER deceased on 11.8.1897 in Richland: Vol.1, pg.. 0294, reel 115, Image 1063, Sequence 261640. How can I verify that it could be her, would such data be on that record?
