Looking for information on Thomas J. HESSLER and wife Dora Alice TRUAX HESSLER. They are on the Richland Co census, although some of their children were born in Muscoda, Grant Co. . Also looking for Thomas E. HESSLER and Delilia WILLIAMSON HESSLER, parents of Thomas J. They also were on the Richland Co. censuses. Thomas E. owned land in Richland co. Andre FIKE, son of Leonard FIKE and Catherine FRANCE. Andrew born Franklin Co. OH. Lived in Indiana, Sauk Co.WI, Richland Co.WI, and Juneau Co. WI, and Vernon Co.WI. Andrew married Nancy BOYER daughter of Samuel BOYER and Amanda SHUMATE or SHOEMAKER. They had the following children:
Arthur born 1884, Ernest born 1885,Lewis born 1887, Frank born 1889, John born 1891, Lydia born 1892, Minnie born 1892, Roseabell born 1895, Della born 1897, Cindy born 1898, Lizzie born 1900, William born 1902.
Does any one know anything of this family. I would appreciate your help and I have a lot of information on this family to share with who ever wishes it. Thank you.

Samuel BOYER born VA 1825 died 1909 Vernon Co.WI, married Amanda SHOEMAKER or SHUMATE 1866 GAllia Co. OH. Children born to them were:
William, Sarah, John, Powell. All of those were born in VA. Perry was born OH. Nancy who married Andrew FIKE was born WI along with the following: Esther, Franklin,Charles, Malinda,and Lucinda. Samuel BOYER's second marriage was to Eva UMBACH who was born Vernon Co. WI. Samuel BOYER resided in Vernon Co.WI and members of his family resided in Juneau Co. WI, Richland Co.WI and Sauk Co.Wi.
I would love to hear from anyone who may know of this family or has information on any of them. Thank you.

WASHBURN -Searching for info on Benjamin Franklin WASHBURN b. 15 Oct 1814 in VT/NY, d. 1863 Civil War death in AK; m. Elizabeth E. RUTH in IL, d. 1886 in Grant Co. They moved to Grant Co abt. 1844/45, to IL and back to Grant Co. abt. 1853/43. Eliz. Ruth's second marriage was to Dempsey FIELDS.

WHITISH - Also searching for info on Peter WHITISH b. 1875 in Grant Co., d. 1965 in Valley CO., MT; m. Clara Frances Rebecca HELM/S 1901 in Grant Co., b. 1883 in Richland Co., d. 1961 in Valley Co., MT. They lived in Grant Co. until apps. 1911/12. Any info on them would be deeply appreciated.

I am looking for information about the PUTNAM family who would have arrived in Richland Center just after the Civil War. The father is George Washington PUTNAM who would have come from Ohio. His son was Abraham Lincoln PUTNAM who was born in Richland Center March 24, 1871. I am also trying to find information about Abraham's wife, Lillian (Octavia?) HIGGINBOTHAM who was also born in Richland Center July 02, 1875.

Looking for information on Samuel FULLER b. 1823 d. 1897 m. Julia HAZEN b. 1828 d. 1907. Julia's Father was Reuben HAZEN. married Jan 1826 to a Dorcas WARRINER (Ohio) Resided in Cold Springs, Jefferson Co., Wisconsin. Samuel and Julia were married sometime in Cold Springs, Jefferson Co., Wisconsin.

Searching for information on my OSBORNE line. I need information on my Great Grandfather John William OSBORNE b. 26 APR 1865 in Bloom Township, Richland Co., WI. Died 16 SEP 1938, buried in Concord Cemetary. Married Edith Ada FRY 22 JUN 1888. I also need information on his father, my Great Great Grandfather who I believe was James William or William James OSBORN(E) born in OH about 1820 and married to a woman named Elizabeth. He was listed in the Richland Co census in 1870. I assume they moved to WI about 1860-63. I think they had at least one older child and several younger ones. I really need help in finding information on him, his wife, children and ancestors. I believe he may be buried in northern Richland Co. but can find no death record. I have a date of death of 02 DEC 1897.
Also searching for information on Helon Mansfield HARWOOD my Great Grandfather. He was born 11 MAR 1847 in WI and died 19 NOV 1925. He is buried in Richland Center. HE married a Nancy Lavina Lewis on 08 OCT 1871. She was born 06 MAY 1855 and died 23 JAN 1916. I need information on her also. I am in great need of information on Helon Mansfield HARWOOD's parents and ancestors.

MANLEY m #1 Polly PHELPS #2 Minerva SIPPY. Elder M. MANLEY also buried in Richland Co. Families also in Fiulton Co (Akron) Indiana, Van Wert Ohio, Pennsylvania. Alternate spellings, SCHUCHMAN, SCHUCKMAN. Arron THOMPSON family from St Lawrence Co Ny and New Hamp., b in Richland Co. MANLEY family from Connecticut.

Looking for information about the CRONINGER family of Viola in Richland county. Benjamin CRONINGER was born 1861 and married Katherine THOMAS 21 October 1882 at Viola. They had 10 children together. Sandy Leroy 1883-1957, Joseph 1884-1931, Mary 1885-1982, George 1888-1961, John 1889-1951, Sara 1891-1985, Della 1894, Pearl 1897-1984, Curtis 1898-1916, Eber 1900-1900. Katherine died on 23 Dec 1900 and Eber on 24 Dec. They were both buried in the same coffin on Christmas Day 1900 at Viola. Would dearly love to know more about this family. Thank you

Looking for ancestors of George Washington BENNETT, born 08-23-1863, died 04-24-1941, married to Estella Winifred BRENNEMAN. His mother was Mary Jane FRANKS, father, Washington BENNETT.
Children: Cecile, Ken, Leonard, Vera, Eva, Ferne, and Clifford. Leonard, Vera and Clifford are only living children. Leonard still lives in home of George Washington BENNETT in RICHLAND CENTER, WI. COMAN, S.T. or R. I am interested in information regarding these individuals who operated a Roller Mill in Fox Lake in the late 1800s. They are related to my Great Grandfather (Truman Coman Sr.) but I am unsure how. Perhaps they were sons or brothers. I am curious about the history of the mill and would be interested in contacting any living relatives. Truman Coman Jr. was living in Richland Co. in 1892 with wife Olive. He was working there on a farm owned by a Mr. Emerson. I would also be interested in information about these individuals.

I'm looking for my great-grandfather, James POOLE, who was born about 1865 and lived in Richland Center. He was married to Cora MURPHY POOLE but she died in 1898. He then remarried. I'm also looking for Hugh GALLAGHER of England, who lived in Willow around 1867. Thank you.

I am interested in Frances Indiania PRIVETT, wife of James A. SHARP. Frances was born in Indiana ca. 1849. Married James Sharp in 1859. Had 13 children. Died on March 28, 1909. James was born 11-21-1837, in Tippecanoe Co., Ind. Moved to Eagle, Richland County, with parents George and Betsy Miller SHARP in 1849. Eagle was a small burg outside Richland Center. He became Richland Co sheriff in 1898. Died in 1915. I have been unable to find any records re Frances birth, marriage, or death; and I have no family info re parents and siblings. All info has come from census records. I was told she was adopted. A census record lists her mother as Mary Peck of Virginia and Privett of S.C. Thanks for your help.
